Meduit Grows National Footprint with Avadyne Health Team

Avadyne Health, headquartered in Moline, IL, has joined forces with Meduit. Established nearly 50 years ago, Avadyne Health delivers expertise in patient payment and financial engagement with a complete solution that addresses the needs of patients. They can scale self-pay account resolution and bad debt recovery services for multi-hospital networks to the largest health systems in the country. Prior to joining Meduit, Avadyne Health managed over $3 billion in placements, served over 5 million patients and collected over $1 billion in patient payments annually.

Avadyne Health brings access to expanded self-service options that help improve the patient experience. These options include AI-fueled voice analytics that review 100% of calls to patients. Once calls are reviewed, the technology provides feedback on these patient communications in order to drive optimal patient financial experiences.

Avadyne’s voice analytics technology:

  • Identifies the top reasons patients are calling
  • Records emotion and carves out calls that may ultimately result in complaints, allowing for early intervention
  • Targets causes of highest patient complaints

When listening to 100% of the calls, the information revealed from voice analytics is often more valuable and accurate than HCAHPS survey information. Reviewers can compare patient complaint levels and patient satisfaction to other similar, de-identified providers.

Avadyne Health also developed Eve – a patient concierge app that walks patients through their hospital bill. This advanced technology helps patients understand the components of their bill by simply using their phone. The Eve patient concierge app is just another example of maximizing technology to improve the patient experience. With Avadyne Health now part of the Meduit team, the organization will be able to serve more hospitals and physician groups with tech-powered solutions that are a win-win for both patients and providers.
