Recent Michigan events focused on charting the course to the future of healthcare. A well-attended panel at the East Michigan HFMA Fall Conference addressed how changes in healthcare, particularly hospital mergers, are impacting providers and how providers can best prepare for and plan for the future of the industry.
John Fisher, Relationship Manager, who represented Meduit in Michigan at the two events, noted that the speakers referenced keeping a positive mind-set while managing change and embrace the fact that applied knowledge is power.
“It was illuminating to hear high-level hospital leaders talk about how to manage change in the age of disruption,” said John. “The HFMA panelists were hospital and health system C-suite executives who spoke about their direct experiences and strategies, specifically regarding mergers and navigating change.”
John also noted that attendees also chatted about artificial intelligence (AI) and how AI will influence and impact the future of healthcare.
