In an era where the healthcare environment is constantly changing, attendees at the 2019 Michigan Revenue Cycle Association Fall Conference addressed how healthcare providers can be as informed as possible and stay prepared to meet the challenges of delivering excellence in patient care in a world where everyone is doing more with fewer resources.
John Fisher, Relationship Manager for Meduit, was on the ground at the conference from September 19 through 20 in Big Rapids, Michigan.
“There were sessions on lean healthcare and engaging processes that reduce waste while increasing employee and patient satisfaction,” John said. “There were a lot of Meduit clients attending the conference, and I had several discussions about our MedAutoCode product as well as other offerings across the revenue cycle.”
John also reported that the conference attendees represented hospital revenue cycle managers, accounting managers, patient registration managers and patient access managers. The MRCA meets every other month to provide education and information that advance revenue cycle solutions to its members.
