Managing change in the healthcare environment was a hot topic at the All Michigan HFMA Spring Conference in late May. The general session opened with “Mastering the Storm of Change” followed by two breakout sessions of interest:
- Power Behind Vendor Management – How it impacts your revenue cycle productivity and bottom line
- Value-Based Care: Positioning, contracting and accounting
“The conference attendees included a number of healthcare finance and revenue cycle leaders from across the state of Michigan. A/I was another big topic that people were chatting about and will continue to be so for a long time to come,” said John Fisher, Relationship Manager representing Meduit at the event. “I also had a number of conversations about the challenges of meeting compliance with upcoming HIPAA changes, so that’s another issue on everyone’s minds.”
Attendees are starting to recognize the Meduit name as they hear it throughout the industry, and Meduit RCM experts are sharing more and more insights and results on how to capitalize on effective revenue cycle solutions.
“A new client of ours came up to me just to say hello after seeing our Meduit sign,” John said. “People are recognizing who we are, and the Meduit name is spreading pretty fast as they see our name more and more.”
