Broadcast news contributors Donna Brazile of Fox News and Nicole Wallace of MSNBC led a panel discussion on the future of affordable healthcare and potential funding for expanded Medicare at the Florida Hospital Association (FHA) Annual Meeting, held October 23-25 in Orlando, FL.
Discussion also covered the importance of lowering drug costs, highlighting the success of North Carolina H.R. 3947 which is aimed at lowering prescription drug prices and removing delays in introducing generic drugs to the market. Brazile and Wallace stressed the importance of bipartisan legislation to make healthcare and medications more affordable for the American public.
“Meduit is proud to be a sponsor of this event and have the opportunity to interact with the impressive group of Florida hospital CEOs and CFOs in attendance,” said Bob Hall, Vice President of Regional Sales for Meduit. “With such a large patient population in Florida, the FHA Annual Meeting is an excellent opportunity for Meduit to connect with hospital and health system leaders.”
