September AAHAM Conference Update: AI and RPA Front & Center at Maryland AAHAM Event Posted on September 20, 2019 Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Process Automation were subjects of key interest at the Maryland AAHAM Annual Institute held September 10 – 12 in Ocean City, MD. Representatives from healthcare provider Medstar Health presented about their company’s investment in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and shared how robotics has changed day-to-day business management. Ken Krieger, Regional VP of Sales North, represented Meduit at the Maryland AAHAM event. “The fact that Meduit has AI and RPA products and more in development shows that we are a forward-thinking company,” Ken said. “It was encouraging to see speakers from the provider side of the equation championing AI and RPA and sharing why they’ve recently invested in developing these innovative RCM solutions to drive revenue.” The [3 Rivers AAHAM Pennsylvania Fall Conference](http://threeriversaaham.com/) in Pittsburgh, PA, held September 4-6, offered attendees with a wide range of speakers and topics including the future of Amazon and healthcare, driving self-pay collections and why government advocacy is important in the healthcare universe.
