August was a busy time for HFMA conferences with Meduit representatives attending events in Arkansas, North Carolina and Louisiana.
Rhonda Silver, Vice President of Insurance Operations, represented Meduit at the North Carolina HFMA Summer Institute. She reports that Meduit continues to lead the RCM pack in artificial intelligence.
“It was exciting to be at the North Carolina conference and see that our competitors are not offering artificial intelligence solutions yet,” Rhonda said. “Meduit’s definitely leading the industry in AI, and it’s great to see us dominating in that arena.”
Bret Whatley, Regional VP Sales, Southeast represented Meduit at the Arkansas HFMA Summer Quarterly Meeting and the Louisiana HFMA Summer Institute. Bret spoke with providers who were still making improvements from former system conversions and legacy work downs. In addition, how provider documentation impacts coding and reimbursement was a hot topic at the Arkansas conference in a special break-out session.
“One of the most interesting things that happened during the conference was that I received an email from a 3-hospital system in the southeast confirming their decision to implement Meduit’s revenue cycle solution services,” Bret said. “You plant seeds at every conference you attend, and sometimes they pay off when you least expect it.”
